The community plays an important role in maintaining cultural traditions, language, and strong connections to Country in this remote desert region.

INTRODUCING YOUR GUIDES
I’ve lived in Central Australia for the past 16 years, and this place continues to shape me. Being on this land has taught me to slow down, to really listen, and to notice what’s happening within me and around me. It’s also where I’ve come to understand how deeply land and culture support people through times of change.
I’m trained in rites-of-passage work and have spent years witnessing peoples growth whilst visiting out here on country. I see how easy it is these days to rush through change without pausing to acknowledge it, and I believe that taking time to mark these moments truly matters. These journeys create space for mothers and daughters, and for women of all ages, to come together, feel supported, and remember they don’t have to do it alone.
At the heart of what I offer is time and space—time to pause, space to reflect, and gentle support to move forward feeling clearer and more confident. I trust that when we slow down and allow the land to be part of the process, people find what they need in their own way
Caitlin Hockey
I’ve worked and visited central Australia for the last 13 years and it continues to show me all the ways back to myself, the land and what really matters. Returning to the desert always feels like coming home, and a reminder of how old ways of the earth and culture have always been there.
I’m trained in the work of deep nature connection and have spent years witnessing peoples growth out here on country. In our busy lives there is a constant urge to keep pushing through, when we really need to slow down and feel what’s there.
The land and its old stories help us to pause, listen and acknowledge the change moving within. I am passionate about helping people connect to themselves in nature, the big unknown and seeing the beauty in it all.
I believe when women come together we have the opportunity to change the story for good. In this mother/daughter desert journey, I’ll be there as a gentle guiding support, sharing nature connection practices and yoga to help you step fully into your wild and precious life.
We’d love to hear from you.
